Happy New Year everyone. I am now back from my Christmas hols and am eager to start the year off profitably. Today we go to Fakenham for a Novice Chase over 21F.

I used 2 strategies to score this race and they both point strongly at Kia Kaha. This is going to be my bet of the day. The price is short enough that we don't want to dutch the bet across a number of runners so this is a straight win single.

I have nothing against betting on favorites if they are true favorites. Looking at Kia Kaha he handles the ground and the trip and seems to be the class horse of the race despite falling last time out.
